About Us
Mission
The mission of GHMA is to expand opportunities for small and midsize manufacturers in Greater Houston by creating a transparent and accessible industry ecosystem through peer-to-peer connections, OEM and product-manufacturer engagement, and informal networking. We believe there's no industry supplier an OEM, product manufacturer, or brand can't find in Greater Houston -- home to over 6000 manufacturing companies and 240,000 manufacturing employees.
We strive to bring members together at in-person gatherings every month. Here's a 2026 preview:

About the Gulf Coast Supplier Summit & Manufacturing Awards
- The two-day Conference brings together contract manufacturers and industrial suppliers with OEMs and product manufacturers driving growth across multiple industries in South Texas.
-
- Day 1 will focus on Supplier Development – with tutorials and education designed to help suppliers continuously improve to pursue opportunities in the multiple industry supply chains developing in the Gulf.
- Day 2 will focus on Business Development – on connecting (and preparing) the industrial base with buyers and procurement managers at invited OEM and product manufacturers in the Gulf or on their way here.
- The Gulf Coast Manufacturing Awards will close the event – recognizing outstanding OEM/PM and industrial suppliers within Gulf Coast industry supply chains.

We encourage all manufacturers to join our association. However - membership is not required to have your event considered for our calendar. Our goal is to promote all manufacturing in the Greater Houston area.
